In short

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, measures nothing and loads nothing from other servers. A visit only creates server logs with a shortened IP address, which are deleted after 14 days.

Hosting

The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner processes the data on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The server is located in Germany.

Server logs

With every request, the web server stores:

• your IP address in shortened form (for IPv4 without the last quarter, for IPv6 only the first 48 bits),
• date and time, the requested address, the status code and the amount of data transferred,
• the browser identification (user agent) and the previously visited page (referrer), if your browser sends them.

This serves secure operation: finding errors and fending off abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days.

No cookies, no analytics

This website uses no cookies and no local storage, no analytics or advertising services and no embedded content from other providers. Fonts and all files come from this server.

Contact

If you write to me or call me, I process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for general enquiries (f)). I delete them once the request is settled and no statutory retention period applies. The provider of my mailbox processes emails on my behalf.

Encryption

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS (recognizable by “https” in the address bar).

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal message to support@rumority.com is enough.

Complaints
